Studio Canal are said to be working on a remake for the classic horror film Don't Look Now. The film doesn't currently have anyone attached to it, although this is part of the plan as Studio Canal want to find a good home for the film before it brings in the writers.

The film is based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier (author behind Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and Rebecca) Don't Look Now is a creepy story about a couple that are devastated by the death of their young daughter who tragically drowns. Seeking to heal their wounds, the couple head to Venice where the tale takes an unexpected twist, as a nun claims to be a psychic who's in touch with their dead daughter.

The original Don't Look Now released back in 1973 and was directed by Nicolas Roeg. We'll keep you posted on the development of the remake, although it'll probably be a little while before we hear anything else on it.
