"To arms, citizens of Tamriel!" calls an official ESO squire, announcing the impending Imperial City DLC pack release date. The DLC will come in two parts; a base-game patch and the actual DLC itself.

The DLC pack will include a brand new PvP/PvE area encompassing six Imperial districts, new quests and characters, a public dungeon in the Imperial Sewers, two new PvE group dungeons in the White-Gold Tower and City Prison, a Tel Var Stone system, 23 brand new Veteran Rank 16 set jewellery, Xivkyn racial motif style, and new collectables such as pets, polymorphs, and costumes.

The base-game patch will be available to all who own the game at no extra cost and includes the regular song-and-dance of bug fixes and improvements, as well as a 15% decrease in the XP needed to gain a Veteran Rank, 100% more XP for public dungeons, 50% more XP for all Veteran Rank quests, 20% more XP for Craglorn, improvements to existing item sets, Veteran Rank increased to 16, improved end-of-campaign Alliance War rewards, and a heap more.

In terms of price, the full pack will be included with your active ESO Plus membership or, if you're not subscribed, it'll cost you 2,500 Crowns (you'll have to purchase 3,000 Crowns if you have none, alleviating you of $25).

If you're running the game on PC or Mac, you'll be able to pick it up on August 31st, if you're on Xbox One it'll be September 15th, and for PlayStation 4 players it'll arrive on September 16th.
