Chiwetel Ejiofor Confirms Doctor Strange Role
Chiwetel Ejiofor has spoken briefly about his forthcoming appearance in Marvel's next cinematic outing, Doctor Strange.
The movie, where he's rumoured to be playing Baron Mordo, is set to start shooting soon with Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role and Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One with Scott Derrickson in the directors chair.
Speaking to EW while promoting his upcoming movie Z for Zachariah, Ejiofor touched upon his first venture into the MCU: "I am doing Doctor Strange, and I’m incredibly excited about it", he said, joking that "that's all I can say".
Divulging a little more Ejiofor added that co-star Cumberbatch was a good friend and that he couldn't wait to work with the 'brilliant' Swinton.
Doctor Strange starts shooting in November, and is released on November 4th 2016.
