First 'Survivor Teaser' Lands for Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk
Christopher Nolan’s latest epic Dunkirk promises David Lean levels of scope and ambition while, hopefully telling the quiet, intimate story of the young men who helped change the course of WWII.
Set at a precarious time for the allied forces in the conflict: with hundreds of thousands of troops surrounded on the continent by enemy forces, their backs to the sea, they're faced with a seemingly impossible situation as their foes close in. But that's just where the story begins…
The cast for this one features a lot of Nolan’s returning players as well as few new recruits including a mixture of Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance.
The movie itself arrives on 21 July next year, but audiences going to see Rogue One in IMAX will also watch a seven-minute prologue of Dunkirk shot in IMAX 65mm.
