After the successful launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider, 10-year Square Enix veteran Darrell Gallagher has announced his departure from the company. In his stead, Ron Rosenberg and Scot Amos have become co-studio heads of Crystal Dynamics.

Aside from heading Crystal Dynamics, Gallagher worked as the Head of Product Development and Western Studios for Square Enix, assisting the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Life is Strange.

As for the new studio heads, Amos stated "Looking to the future, I’m thrilled to take the next steps of growing our studio and expanding our portfolio, while continuing to foster an environment where our developers can learn and grow as they craft beloved products."

Crystal Dynamics is "looking forward to creating more exciting experiences for you in 2016", including the upcoming PC port for Rise of the Tomb Raider.
