Watch the New Cars 3 Trailer
In the last Cars 3 trailer, things didn’t look good for Lightning McQueen. Past his prime and involved in a terrifying smash, it looked like his racing days were over.
Now, picking up straight after that horror-smash, it looks like Lightning (Owen Wilson) is about to strike back. In this brand new trailer, Lightning is no longer the new kid on the block; he’s a veteran facing his last days on the circuit with a new, young hot shot Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer) just waiting in the wings to steal his thunder…get It…because he’s called Lightning…I’ll get my coat.
While there’s no sign of regulars Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub, Cheech Marin and, of course, Larry "Mater" The Cable Guy, they are all on the cast list, and, as seen in the trailer, that’s definitely Mack the Truck (John Ratzenberger).
Directed by Brian McFee, Cars 3 will roar into cinemas in the US on June 16, and 14 July in the UK.
