Official Teaser for Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight
It’s already moseyed its way online in bootleg form and now as production wraps we’re getting our first official look at the teaser trailer for The Hateful Eight.
The trailer, which audiences caught sight of last year when it screened in front of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, is light on actual footage but perfectly captures the striking tone of Quentin Tarantino's last foray into the western genre, Django Unchained. So expect treachery, duplicity and the odd Mexican standoff or two.
Set after the American Civil War, the story revolves around a group of strangers thrown together by fate during a snowy Wyoming winter. The roster of gunslingers, bounty hunters and fugitives includes Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Demian Bichir, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Walter Goggins and Channing Tatum.
The Hateful Eight is set to blast its way into screens later this year.
