Halo Wars 2 Announced
Xbox ended their press event at Gamescom 2015 with a bang when they announced Halo Wars 2 along with a dark, gritty reveal trailer!
The announcement was made by Bonnie Ross, founder and head of 343 Industries, when she teased a Halo continuation that fans have been waiting for... at first the CGI trailer had us guessing more Halo: Nightfall was on the way, but were thrilled (and very surprised) to see the Halo Wars 2 logo pop up at the end. The original was released in 2009 and developed by Ensemble Studios; this time around, Creative Assembly (Total War, Alien: Isolation) is leading development on the project that will release on both PC & Xbox One. So far, all we know now is that the game will feature exciting strategy elements along with fast-paced action, massive battles, and an all-new Halo story.
