Torment: Tides Of Numenera Interactive Quest Trailer
The philosophical classic RPG Torment: Tides of Numenera from inXile Entertainment is over a month away and they're teasing us with an interactive quest trailer.
We get a glimpse at the weird and wonderful future of Earth (a billion years to be more precise) and the dilemma a certain side quest poses when dealing with a curious life-form kept in a shielded cage. Decisions, decisions.
"Discover the Ninth World built on the bones of eight advanced civilizations and leave your own mark on it. Make thousands of essential choices, face the consequences, and meet death incarnated as you seek the answer to the ultimate question: What does one life matter?"
Do we go with a lie? Do we speak the soothing words of truth? Do we let some person off the street teleport a caged life-form to some undisclosed location for dissection of its memory? Troubling moral choices lie ahead. This new RPG from inXile is the thematic successor to Planescape: Torment. The interactive trailer is narrated by Colin McComb, creative lead for the project.
