Details & Gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The first part of Nintendo's Treehouse event is still going on but, if you're not around to watch it, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the most important thing you've missed!
A trailer and extended gameplay demo were shown off on the stream but first things first, let us show you the first official trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild!
We have to say it; this game looks absolutely gorgeous but let's talk details! For the first time in the series, you'll be able to equip the adorable new Link with armour and clothing, each with its own defence value. Additionally, weaponry will lose durability and eventually break which means you'll be pillaging enemies for their weapons.
Link will have to traverse the world - which appears to be quite large - by foot or by climbing up mountains. You won't be able to restore health by finding hearts in grass either. Aonuma stated, "it's almost like a survival game" and you'll have to eat food which you can find and cook in the wild.
