Netflix The OA Trailer and New Details Drop
To some, she's a miracle. To others, a freak. Only a few understand where she's been: to the brink of an unseen world. Netflix have dropped the first details and a trailer for it’s straight to streaming mystery-drama The OA.
The series itself has largely been kept under wraps: “She’s our daughter — but she’s never seen us before. Seven years ago, when she went missing, she was blind.” Those words set up the trailer for the series. “I didn’t disappear,” Marling’s Prairie Johnson says. “I was present for all of it.” It’s certainly intriguing.
Also staring alongside Johnson are Scott Wilson as her adopted father, Will Brill, Emory Cohen, Patrick Gibson, Brendan Meyer and Brandon Perea.The eight-hour drama reunites Sundance veterans Brit Marling and director Zal Batmanglij — who collaborated on Park City debutants The East and Sound of My Voice — The OA will debut this Friday, December 16.
