Ubisoft's 30th anniversary celebrations include free games for PC users of the Uplay platform, and the next in the spotlight will be Michel Ancel's Beyond Good & Evil.

This isn't a surprisingly reveal as recently the game's creator and Ubisoft has been teasing some concept artwork to a follow-up to Beyond Good & Evil, and have confirmed it remains in pre-production.

"We're over the half way mark of the Ubi30 celebrations now and we've seen 4 great games make it into your hands over the past 4 months, the latest being The Crew. It is time however to jump back to a good old classic and relive gaming history with Beyond Good and Evil!"

So far Ubisoft has given away four titles starting from June with one new free game every month. PC gamers have been able to grab Prince of Perisa: The Sands of Time, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins and The Crew.

Beyond Good & Evil has quite the ardent fan base and getting the game free is a real treat, especially for anyone yet to join its cult following.

Be sure to raid Uplay from October 12th for your free copy of Beyond Good & Evil.
