Dishonored 2 PC Requirements Posted, Corvo Attano Spotlight
Arkane Studios has released the PC requirements to power Dishonored 2, which will be out for PC and console in just a little over a week as of writing.
All those Outsider gifted powers, guard patrols and rat mischief needs a rig capable of bringing it all together. The original Dishonored was a beautiful game and the sequel continues with its artistic flair and exaggerated charm. What does the PC version get in its arsenal?
Minimum Requirements:
• Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions)
• Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
• 8 GB RAM
• 60 GB free HDD space
• NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
• Contains a single disc

• Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
• 16 GB RAM
• 60 GB free HDD space
• NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better
They've also released a list of PC specific configuration settings that will help tweak the performance and let users decide fancy effects or detail levels they want or like. Interestingly they offer an adaptive resolution to help lower spec PCs without necessarily sacrificing too much. Dishonored 2 on PC will support Window Mode, Borderless and Fullscreen - as all PC titles should. There's also gamma, v-sync and monitor selection.
Detail settings for textures, models and the environment are among the usual suspects, and are joined by shadows for rats and bloodfly. There's also quality options for water, shadows along with view distance and field of vision (FOV). Nvidia specific treats include HBAO+, TXAA, Surround technology and 360 degree Ansel image capture, which can be shared even using VR headsets.
Dishonored 2 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 November 11th, 2017.
