Shadowrun: Hong Kong Mini-Campaign "Free To Everyone Who Already Has The Game"
Harebrained Schemes has announced developer commentary is on the way for Shadowrun: Hong Kong, but so is the long promised 4-5 hour mini-campaign that was originally a backer tier reward through its $1.2 million Kickstarter.
The post-game mini-campaign will become a free add-on for all current owners of Shadowrun: Hong Kong, meaning you need to have ideally completed the main story and have a character ready to be imported into the new shorter adventure. "Almost ready to go back to Hong Kong? We're adding 5+ hours of gameplay and a Dev Audio Commentary! (Same low price, lots more content! And updated free to everyone who already has the game!)" Harebrained posted on Facebook.
At $1 million the Kickstarter campaign achieved the 'Shadows of Hong Kong Mini-Campaign' goal.
"We have our plans set for the story we want to tell in Shadowrun: Hong Kong, but if we hit this funding goal, we’ll create an ADDITIONAL 4-5 hour Hong Kong Mini-Campaign that takes place AFTER the story ends. "
"The Mini-Campaign will allow you to IMPORT your high-karma Hong Kong character for a challenge only a prime runner could accept. The Shadows of Hong Kong Mini-Campaign will come out sometime before the end of 2015 and will be FREE to Backers at the $15 pledge level and up." Now the studio is making it free to all owners and is due 'soon'.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong released on PC back in August 2015.
