Haley Bennett Joins The Girl on The Train
The Equalizer star Haley Bennett is just the latest name to john the stellar cast of Tate Taylor's adaptation of Paula Hawkins bestseller The Girl on the Train.
Adapted by Erin Cressida Wilson, the book has drawn favourable comparisons to Gone Girl. The story follows a recently divorced woman called Rachel (Emily Blunt) struggling with her life and sinking into alcoholism to try to cope. She sees a seemingly perfect couple from her London train ride every day and starts to fantasise about their lives. But things take a turn when she sees something shocking happen in the house…
Joining both Blunt and Bennett will be Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation star Rebecca Ferguson.
Bennett has worked on Warren Beatty's latest untitled movie, Terrance Malicks similarly untitled film and the upcoming remake of The Magnificent Seven.
