Blade Runner 2049 gets its very first atmospheric teaser trailer and it’s…well just watch it. It’s amazing!
For those not in the know, Denis Villeneuve is directing this much-anticipated sequel and along with semi-regular cinematographer Roger Deakins, and, once again, that partnership has resulted in some breath-taking visuals. If the film is just as inventive and haunting as the teaser, we’re in for something that could match the original in terms of it’s scope.
Harrison Ford is back once again in the role of LAPD ‘blade runner’ a detective assign to ‘retire’ the genetically engineered replicants. Its been 30 years since Ford’s Deckard went missing and it’s taken a new blade runner know only as ‘K’, played by Ryan Gosling, to hunt him down.
Also staring Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Mackenzie Davis and Jared Leto are also due to star in the film, which arrives on 6 October, 2017.
