Vin Diesel Kojak Movie Finds New Writer - Still Loves Ya' Baby
Who loves ya' baby? Obviously it's Vin Diesel who's mooted adaptation of classic TV detective series, Kojak moves closer to the big screen.
Variety reports that the project has found itself a screenwriter in the form of Philip Gawthorne.
The first draft had been completed by Skyfall scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, but now playwright Gawthorne - who's credits include Cube and Soap Opera Eastenders - will put his own spin on proceedings no doubt while sucking on a lollipop and looking cooler than you.
There's no word yet on the plot but we do know that Diesel will tackle the lead role as the street smart detective and that he bares a passing resemblance to original star, the late Telly Savalas...and not just because they're both bald.
