Sledgehammer Announces New Advanced Warfare Gear Classes
Developer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games, has announced a pair of new gear classes coming to the game next month.
Legendary Gear and Retired Gear will be heading to Xbox editions of the game come June 9, Playstation editions may be waiting until July. According to the development team, eight pieces of Legendary gear will top game’s current Elite Gear and will be obtained via Supply Drops.
Previously, this gear set was awarded to a single player who reached Grand Master Prestige before anybody else, “this is now your chance to collect the rarest gear in the game. This set of eight pieces can be unlocked via Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drop and each Item is highlighted purple in the Armory with the highest redemption value in the game.”
Retired Gear, however, is less exciting; three pieces of equipment will be removed from Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops permanently, rendering them impossible to find. These items will be the Atlas 45 - A3, the MP443 Grach - Latitude, and the PDW - CQB.
