FromSoftware Shows Off Fresh Dark Souls 3 Gameplay

If you're a fleet-footed player, you might be happy to hear that Dark Souls 3 will have a quick-step mechanic as a weapon-specific skill. This was shown off recently in a recent stream held by FromSoftware, a short snippet of which you can check out below.

This quick-step mechanic appears to be one of the new Weapon Arts, a manoeuvre mapped to a shoulder button which expands your combat prowess. Other confirmed Weapon Arts include being able to take a different stance with a longsword, or the ability to parry with a small shield.

Dark Souls 3 will hit North American and Europe on April 12 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
