The BAFTA Game Awards 2016 has decreed its list of winners this year and taking the top prize is Bethesda Softworks' Fallout 4 which takes home to Vault 101 'Best Game'.

Winning the British Game for stiff-upper-lip-ness was Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight, which tells you they probably didn't send them Steam code for the PC version after all that debacle. Rocket League for the 'Family' award for being so crazy fun and inoffensive, and they took 'Multiplayer' and 'Sport' too, unsurprisingly.

Her Story meanwhile pigged out on three category wins for 2016 taking 'Debut Game', 'Game Innovation' and 'Mobile & Handheld'. Bloodborne totally slayed the competition for 'Game Design' while Until Dawn got 'Original Property' for its spooky mountain drama.

Prison Architect won 'Persistent Game' which can help cover things that have been in the works for a long time, such as in Early Access, but only recently launched officially. Life is Strange rewinded time and changed their decisions until they secured 'Story' for themselves, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture took 'Audio Achievement' and 'Music'.

'Artistic Achievement' went to the beautiful looking Ori and the Blind Forest and 'Performer' landed in Merle Dandridge's lap for Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
