British Children's TV Classic The Clangers Returns
The classic British children's TV series The Clangers is in the making and will return later this year. With £5m budget and narrated by Michael Palin from Monty Python, The Clangers will stay true to itself without being 'pepped up and zingy' according to Michael Palin.
The stop-motion animated children's television sees a family of mouse-like creatures living on a moon-like planet, originally broadcast by the BBC1 in 1969–1972. It is one of the most well-received British children's series and often hailed as the best children's series. Alongside the remake of Teletubbies with a lot of high-tech makeovers, nostalgia is in the air in 2015.
