Gwent Closed Beta Begins
CD Projekt RED's true masterpiece as we all know is Gwent, that card-dealing strategy epic. Now the Closed Beta for Gwent has begun, so shuffle those decks.
Reigtsrations for the Gwent beta are still open on the official website for PC and Xbox One. The invites will be rolled out so should you not be offered a seat at the table, there's no need to go all Witcher and slaughter everyone.
The game Gwent was introduced with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt For Gwent Cards - I believe that was the full title. It replaced the previous dice mini-game and became a big hit for tavern dwellers throughout the huge RPG sequel. What's more it had a separate quest-line to get every major Gwent character card.
Currently there's no official end date for the beta so it's until some of the Baron's men show up and start getting violent before the Gwent game gets broken up.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is in development for PC and Xbox One.
