Cloverfield 3 Has a New Release Date
If you’re eagerly awaiting the third part in the Cloverfield franchise then be prepared to…wait a bit longer…
Proving that you can’t really fool us all the time, Cloverfield 3 is officially a thing. Which is saying something because most of us only heard about 10 Cloverfield Lane when the trailer dropped. Ending the intrigue this time around was an official announcement from Paramount which confirmed a new Cloverfield movie will hit screens in October. At the same time, they quietly removed a film called God Particle from their schedule, which seems to indicate that it was, as rumoured, the working title of a new Cloverfield entry.
Remember The Cellar? Nope? That’s because that was 10 Cloverfield Lane and was wiped from the schedule once the proverbial cat was out of the bag – meaning that Paramount could then confirm the release date for 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Which, as history repeats itself, almost certainly means Cloverfield 3 has been delayed…
The Hollywood Reporter says that Cloverfield 3 is now officially on the release schedule for October 27, while God Particle previously with a February 24 release date, is now gone entirely.
So, if you want more from the cinematic equivalent of The Twilight Zone franchise, well, you’re going to have to wait a little long for your thrills and chills.
