Four Images Of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Movie Teased, Full Trailer Coming Tomorrow
No footage of the Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender has been seen yet but by tomorrow that will all change. Until then four photos have just landed in a hay cart.
The premise of the film is very similar to the video game series, which it has to be of course. Callum Lynch (Fassbender) explores his memories and discovers he's the descendant of Master Assassin Aguilar, member of a secret Assassins' brotherhood.
He gathers all the skills he needs through these trips into his genetic past and uses them to take on the Templar organisation in the modern day. This mirrors the journey of Desmond Miles in the original Assassins Creed, though hopefully with less repetitive busywork before we get to sink a hidden blade into a Templar's neck.
Joining Michael Fassbender in the big movie adaptation is Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael Kenneth Williams.
Assassin's Creed will be in cinemas December 21st in the US, December 30th in the UK.
