Bandai Namco have decreed the date the Eternal Crusade will begin it's endless factional brawl between Space Marines, Orks, Eldar, and the Tyranids in the new MMO.

Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade features whopping great battle zones that players can band together in squads and achieve glorious victory. It supports both PvP and PvE modes but either way the extermination of the filthy enemy is your goal.

The factions also have sub-factions to choose from because the Warhammer 40,000 universe doesn't skimp on the ideological diversity.

"We are committed to delivering the best experience for the release on September 23rd, with a PC version that matches our ambitions in terms of content and quality and sets the runway for our free lifetime expansions."

"To pause the development of the console versions was a tough decision but will result in an optimized and extended experience when released," says Behaviour Digital's Stephen Mulrooney. There is currently no fixed date attached to the console versions.

Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade releases on PC September 23rd, and on console likely in 2017.
