The Batman: Ben Affleck on Directing a Superhero Movie
Once he’s finished Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and at least the first of the two Justice League movies, it’s expected that Ben Affleck will take the helm of a standalone Batman movie.
While he’s not confirmed or denied his involvement, he has told USA Today, of his growing interest in telling stories on this grand scale.
“I’ll just say going through the process, I would never have imagined that I could or would direct a movie like this", Affleck said. "And in working with [Zack Snyder] and seeing what he did and watching him every day, I got really inspired by that and by seeing the scope on which he was telling the story, by seeing what he was able to do with this kind of mythic story on a grand scale"
It’s pretty much the same line he has stuck to before but again, it isn’t a denial of any involvement in the movie, rumoured to be called The Batman.
Expect to hear more once Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits cinemas in March.
