Why Does Sony's UK PSVR Disc Have Fewer Games?
In the UK, the PlayStation VR demo disc offers eight titles to choose from while across the pond, the US version boasts eighteen. Why? Well, the answer is localisation.
According to a spokesperson chatting to Digital Spy, "Due to several considerations specific to our region, for example, age rating and localisation requirements, there is a difference in content between the US and European VR demo discs ... We continue to explore the possibility of making further demos available for free download from the Store."
Simply put, the UK version will offer the selection of demos available in multiple languages whereas, in the US, games only need to be in English.
