BMC badge engineering ran riot with the family-sized fintastic Farinas; there were Austin, Morris, MG, Wolseley and Riley versions. Wolseley, as usual, performed the luxury duties, which meant a higher quality cabin of hide and walnut and the trademark grille. So as not to detract from the MG and Riley versions though, it shared the 52bhp single carburettor 1489cc engine of the Austin and Morris machines. In 1961, the type metamorphosed into the 16/60, with a 1622cc engine of 61bhp, anti-roll bars to rein in the excessive body roll and the fins cut down.
