TVR Vixen S1-S4
Early Vixens were really just Granturas with a Cortina GT engine in place of the old MGB unit. The improved S2 from October 1968 came with a longer wheelbase - and longer doors to go with it. It is easily distinguishable by its Cortina MkII tail-lights. A year later the S3 brought further upgrades, including a Capri-spec engine, cast alloy wheels, and grilles to cover the engine bay cooling vents. wenty-three S4 Vixens were built on the new M-series chassis to use up old bodies. Quite quick, but with a hard ride and quite twitchy handling.
