There's no question Housemarque once again gets its own brand of chaos spot on, and you're going to love what they've got in store for you this time.

Matterfall is a fluid, frenetic, explosively colourful arcade shooter sure to satisfy both casual players and high-score chasers.

Matterfall is an absolute gem to play, taking gameplay we know and love and adding just the right nuances to give us something great.

Once again, Housemarque has made a tight little game with polished mechanics that’s sure to delight.

Matterfall may not be the best product developed by Housemarque in recent years, but it is still a thrilling adventure that boasts excellent gameplay and gorgeous visuals.

This is a strong followup to Resogun, and one of the PlayStation 4’s better digital exclusives.

For those who like their action simple but visually pleasing and challenging, Matterfall is an easy recommendation.

Matterfall is a great shooter and will give you many hours of entertainment if you like chasing high scores and challenging gameplay.

It's not quite Outland (which Housemarque also created), but it'll do.

Occasionally cumbersome controls and a generic sci-fi aesthetic do little to deter from a tight, addictive and explosive shooter.

Matterfall’s not the best game Housemarque will release in 2017 – but then, the virtually flawless Nex Machina was always going to be a tough act to follow.

It’s a solid shooter that will please enthusiasts, but not quite up there with Resogun or Nex Machina.

Matterfall's action packed ride is over all too soon, but it's a blast while it lasts.
