FORD Granada Mk II
MkII Granadas adopted Ford’s new family appearance of squared-off lines. The angular appearance worked especially well with the larger proportions, cunningly disguising that what was underneath was mainly MkI. However, fresh V6 engines were added in 2293cc and 2792cc capacities plus, for those who prized economy over performance, a 2112cc diesel. Trim levels of L, GL, S and Ghia covered all bases and there were limited edition versions such as the Sapphire and leather-clad Chasseur.
