Taking over from the commercially very successful 250 GTE as Ferrari’s four-seater option, the 330 GT came with a litre more engine capacity for vastly improved performance figures – top speed was raised by 10mph over the older car. Unfortunately the 330 GT also came with an awkward twin headlamp arrangement that, in polite terms, received mixed reviews. Thankfully the Series II, introduced halfway through production, reverted to a prettier single headlamp arrangement, and it’s these the market prefers.
