Blind Before I Stop

Something of a departure from the harder rocking approach of 1984's Bad Attitude, and certainly a long way from the fusion of rock operatics that is the 40 plus million selling Bat Out Of Hell, Blind Before I Stop was originally released in September 1986. Whereas previous long players had been a showcase for Jim Steinmans skills as a songwriter, one obvious reason for the switch to a more European direction that fully embraced 80s production values was the role of producer Frank Farian, famed for his work with Boney M and later Milli Vanilli, among others.
