Alfa Romeo Giulietta Berlina
These saloons might have hit the market during the mid-1950s, but they enjoyed an advanced specification and were built with the sporting driver in mind. In typical Alfa style, the Berlina started out powered by a modest engine, but with each new season, or so it seemed, a more powerful variation was shoehorned in. The pick of the crop ended up being the 75bhp Ti version, which ticked all of the important sporting saloon boxes. Sadly, the survival rate is very low, with the main culprits being damp climates and rabid rust.
